Reference Platform Design

Brief:

Quative wanted to take on the likes of Microsoft with an IPTV Service Delivery Platform (SDP). They looked to us to design their EPG (electronic programme guide) and overall user interface and were keen to push out the boat with blue sky concepts.

What we did:

The realisation of Hardware speeds focused the design into functional grid based EPG with many innovations.

The UI was designed for rebranding in mind.

Outcome:

The User Interface is still a major part of their SDP

The UI was developed and tested on Mac Minis before distribution to STBs.

Our designs ensured that we were invited to conceptualise and design Deutsche Telekom’s view of an IPTV future using Quative’s SDP
